Gallery Wrapped Canvas Information
Our Canvas is a high quality, water resistant poly-cotton blend. We use an Epson Ultra-chrome 8 color ink jet printer for all our artwork.
An Aqueous Coating is applied in the final stage for better streatching around the frame & to prevent cracking of the ink. This coating gives the ink its permanence & UV protection so that when you receive it all you have to do is hang it on the wall!
No frame needed because the outside edges are finished in either a solid color, words or a phrase or an extension of the actual photo itself.
Images from you need to be anywhere from 100 to 300 dpi. We prefer a high level jpeg (Quality 12) file. Or, we can take your actual photos & scan them for you (.25 per photo or slide). And as long as we start with a clear image, we can make it as large as you like.
We can print up to 10x10's for you ourselves, but requests for larger sizes will be sent to an outside company that specializes in canvas art.
The image you wish to have printed to canvas can be done just like a regular photo would be or as an Artisan Painted version. The Artisan Painted version will give you a specific oil, watercolor, pencil, pastel, etc. look that you wish too achieve with your image.
We utilize special computer software to achieve the Artisan Painted look & an email proof will be sent to you prior to our printing the final version to canvas. Once we receive your approval via email, we will begin printing on the actual canvas.
K & S Gallery can create something totally different from your original photo. A person can be completely cropped out of the photo & placed into an entirely different background appearing as if the original photo was taken at a specific location. Want to look like you were at a tropic location but you were really only at the lake? Sitting in the backyard, but want to look like you're sitting in a room? Have a photo of your daughter dressed up for prom standing in front of the fireplace at home but want her to appear as if she's in a castle? All this & more can be accomplished with photomanipulation & our special computer software.
Does your teen have a bad complexion at this stage of their life? We can smooth & remove all of that & give them a perfect complexion. Need teeth whitened in a photo (you know yellow or discolored teeth ALWAYS make a person appear older than they really are) or some wrinkles removed or softened, we can take care of that too.
Please note that all of these changes can be done for a photo that will just be printed out on regular archival matte or glossy paper too.
